Allen-Bradley was founded in 1903 by Lynde Bradley and investor Dr. Stanton Allen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA. Originally named the Compression Rheostat Company, it originally focused on manufacturing rheostats and controllers. The corporate headquarters are still located in the same building!
